Please check our coverage map to ensure that your carrier is covered by the Q-200 product. Also, make sure that you entered the phone number correctly (starting with country code, area code, mobile number). If this doesn't help, please contact us for further assistance.

2. How do I purchase SMS Plans?

Click here and follow three easy steps. First, you choose the package you want to buy. Second, you provide us your personal information. Third, you enter your credit card details. SMS Plans can be bought using our secure credit card ordering system, PayPal or via wire transfer. Payments can be made through VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.

3. How do I send messages?

Q-200 offers you three ways to send messages. First, you can test our coverage and quality by using the free test feature on the Q-200 Home Page. Secondly, you can send messages using the Quios SMS Manager, which is a Windows-based application that you can download free of charge. Thirdly, you can integrate Q-200 directly into your applications by using our Q-200 API.

4. Is there an expiration date for the SMS Plans?

SMS Plans are valid for 3 months from date of purchase. However, if you purchase additional SMS credits or "top-up" your account before the 3-month expiration, any unused SMS credits are carried over to the next period.

5. How do I top up my credits or buy Additional Plans?

To recharge or buy more plans or credits, go to the SMS Manager Communications folder and click on "BUY" or go to the Quios Q-200 Home Page, log in with your existing username and password, and click on "BUY".

6. I cannot remember my Username or Password, what should I do?

Just click on the Customer Support link on the Quios SMS website and give us any details that you can remember on your account. We will reply with your Username and Password through the email address you registered when you signed up for Quios SMS.

7. Can I send SMS without registering my mobile phone? Why register my mobile phone?

Yes, you can send SMS to your contacts from Quios SMS without registering your mobile phone. Your phone only needs to be registered when you want to use your phone number as originator of the SMS messages ("FROM" field) you want to send out. Follow two easy steps to register your phone number:

1. Enter your phone number on the Mobile Activation page and request an activation code.

2. The code will shortly arrive on your phone. Enter the code on the web page.

Your phone number is now registered and ready to use as SMS originator.

8. I did not get my activation code, why?

If you did not specify your mobile phone number when you registered with Quios SMS, you will not receive an activation code.
If you have entered your mobile phone number when you registered and you still did not receive your activation code, please check the following:
  • Make sure your mobile phone is turned on.

  • Make certain you have entered the country code and the entire mobile phone number without the leading zeros; Example: UK 44 (country code) 774xxxx (mobile phone number).

  • Verify that your mobile carrier is capable of SMS.

  • If you still haven't received your validation code, please contact us with your mobile phone number, carrier, and country.

9. What is Quios SMS Manager?

SMS Manager is a downloadable Windows application installed on your PC. This allows you to send SMS or text messages from your PC to any mobile phone worldwide using your Quios Q-200 account. No need to open a web browser. However, before you can use the SMS Manager, you need to register for a Q-200 account.

Phonebook Directory - You have your own personal phonebook online. No need to worry about losing the mobile phone numbers of your family, friends, colleagues and clients.

Message History - Keep track of all your messages anytime! You will have a list of all messages that have been sent from your account.

Credit Display - Real-time display of the number of credits available.

11. How do I enter a mobile phone number in the "TO" field?

Enter + country code, area code and the mobile phone number without the leading zero. Example: UK: 44 (country code) 774xxxx (mobile phone number).

12. How do I start sending text messages in the SMS Manager?

Click the Communications folder. The Originator field will automatically reflect your username and the mobile number you registered at Quios.

13. How do I send my messages?

Here are two (2) ways of sending messages using the SMS Manager.

a. In the Communications folder, go to"MESSAGE" field and type your message. After typing in your message, you may use the "SPEED SEND" option (please refer to speed send function) or type in the mobile number in the "SEND TO" field and click "SEND"to send the message.

b. On the Phone Book folder, select the name/mobile number you want to send a message to and click "SEND SMS". The selected name will automatically appear on the "SEND TO" field in the Communications folder.

14. How do I send group messages?

Here are few ways of sending group messages.

a. In the Phone Book, press "CTRL" key to highlight the names you wish to send messages to and click "OK".

b. On the "SEND TO" field, type in the mobile numbers you want to send to. Use semicolon (;) to separate the mobile numbers.

c. You may use SMS Blast.

15. How do I set up the Speed send function?

Press the "CLICK HERE TO DEFINE YOUR SPEED SEND" link. Enter the desired names and phone numbers (network operator code + mobile number only) in the fields. The country code that you registered when you signed up for an account will be automatically appended.

16. How do I edit/change my SPEED SEND?

Right click on the SPEED SEND button you want modified. Click PROPERTIES and edit the name and numbers.

17. How do I set up the Phone Book?

Here are two (2) ways to set up the Phone Book feature:

a. When you enter a new mobile number in the "SEND TO" field and press "SEND NOW", you will be prompted to add the new number in you contact list; A pop-up window will prompt you to fill out the details associated with that mobile number; click "OK" to store the information.

b. Click on the Phone Book and click "NEW" button. A pop-up window will prompt you to enter the desired name and numbers you want stored.

18. How do I view my sent messages?

Go to the History folder. Click on "SMS" or "SMS Blast". The exact message sent to a particular mobile number will be displayed on the "message" field when you click on the corresponding mobile number.

The User Info folder stores your account information: Username, Password, Home Country.
