eWingz Systems, Inc., a Delaware company, was incorporated in April 2001. Series A venture funding of US $3.5 million from leading venture capital fund Draper Fisher Jurvetson (US) was secured in July 2001.

eWingz Systems, Inc. acquired key assets from Quios, Inc., including technology, IP rights & patents, brand names, and supplier & customer contracts. Quios, who created the world's largest mobile community with over 2 million members, built one of the most robust SMS routing and billing platforms in the world, capable of handling large message volumes with end-to-end message tracking. eWingz Systems, Inc., intends to use the Quios name as its main brand, because of the broad recognition and positive associations of the brand in the market.
